About Washington County Criminal History

Washington County criminal records are divided among offices in Washington, Pennsylvania, and statewide agencies. Police keep their own incident and arrest reports. The Clerk of Courts maintains Common Pleas criminal files, while the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository supplies Pennsylvania criminal-history products. Custody and registry information follow separate channels. This private site organizes those routes so readers can identify the official portal, counter, or telephone number that fits the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Public access in Pennsylvania depends on both the record and its custodian. A Washington County arrest report belongs to the police agency that created it, while a filed prosecution appears through the Unified Judicial System and the Clerk of Courts. The Washington County Correctional Facility keeps custody records but currently does not release individual inmate details to the public. Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History, known as PATCH, is the Pennsylvania State Police repository channel. The PA DOC Inmate/Parolee Locator and the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Website serve still different purposes. We bring the verified contacts, official search routes, fees, and request steps together without treating these distinct records as interchangeable.

What You Will Find Here

  • Official check instructions: how PATCH name checks, subject-only Access and Review, and statutorily routed IdentoGO fingerprint checks differ
  • Record guides: how to search and read Washington County criminal court cases through the UJS portal and Clerk of Courts
  • Agency contacts: where to reach the relevant police agency, Clerk of Courts, Sheriff, correctional facility, and statewide record systems
  • Record-clearing routes: how Pennsylvania expungement, limited access, Clean Slate sealing, and pardons differ and where court filings begin

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Pennsylvania court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot provide certified court documents, PATCH responses, police reports, or any other official record
  • We cannot submit Right-to-Know requests, challenges, expungement petitions, or other forms for a visitor
  • We cannot perform an official background check or retrieve a person's criminal record
  • We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, disposition, or record-clearing rule as legal advice
  • We cannot promise that an agency's hours, fees, contact details, or procedures have not changed

Only the office that originates or keeps a record, such as the Clerk of Courts, an arresting police agency, or the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, can supply an official copy.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. Each provider controls its own service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee for us, which helps support free access to the reference material. We neither set the provider's charges nor determine which results it returns.
